Marmi is currently seeking a Store Manager for our store at The Mall at Green Hills in Nashville, TN.

Marmi combines fashion and style with unparalleled selection and service in a comfortable boutique environment. What sets Marmi apart from the competition aside from our customer service is our exceptional size range of sizes 4 to 13 in widths slim to wide. Headquartered in St. Louis, MO, Marmi has been in the specialty retail business since 1986 and has rapidly grown into a recognizable leader in fashionable, European influenced footwear and accessories.

Our store personnel are handpicked and trained in proper fit, fashion consultation and the Marmi method of individual customer attention and satisfaction.


A Marmi store manager is focused on personally driving sales, building clientele and motivating their team to achieve the company's goals. Non-selling and operational duties are minimal allowing the manager to concentrate their efforts on providing excellent customer service to our clients and growing their business. The right candidate for this position will be a top-tier sales professional with the track record to support it, higher end shoe experience would be ideal. Above all, the ideal candidate will be well connected in their community, possess an entrepreneurial spirit with the drive and ability to grow their business organically by leveraging those connections and networking with other related non-compete businesses within the shopping center and local community.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Achieve company assigned sales goals and personal sales goals.
  • Lead, coach and motivate by example and through positive, enthusiastic representation of the Marmi brand.
  • Collaborate with corporate marketing team and mall marketing team to leverage all possible means of promoting the Marmi brand within the mall and the community.
  • Leverage community connections and networking skills to build client base.
  • Develop store loyalty by ensuring a positive personal shopping experience for our clients.
  • Educate staff to be knowledgeable about and able to articulate about our product and fit.
  • Partner with the Director of Operations to resolve issues and ongoing challenges.
  • Proactively network and recruit for qualified candidates to ensure potential candidates for in store positions.
  • Successfully train all new store associates.
  • Achieve excellence in execution through consistency in visual merchandising and housekeeping standards.
  • Ensure compliance of Company policies and procedures.



  • BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform essential functions of the job.
  • 3+ years retail management experience with proven effective management skills.
  • Possess effective selling techniques to build clientele and ensure repeat business.
  • Effective networking skills and entrepreneurial mind-set.
  • Ability to actively supervise the sales floor.
  • Prior footwear experience, preferably for a better or luxury brand.
  • Strong verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to effectively present product knowledge and services.
  • Strong eye for fashion.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Retail math knowledge.
  • Physical requirements: lift /carry/move 40 lbs minimum.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
